Keep Warm at the AAC This Winter!
by Executive Director Beth Koski

Happy New Year!!

I hope you all have enjoyed wonderful holiday times with your family and friends, and at least partaking of one of the Arts Center’s numerous offerings
during this special season.

Lots more is in store for you. As you peruse this edition of the Arts Center News, I hope you find our many upcoming events, classes and productions to entice you to come see us during the grey and long days of winter. It’s always warm at the Arts Center ... come visit us and experience it for yourself. From a sweat-inducing dance class, to a kiln oven fired ceramics class, to the Southern setting of “To Kill A Mockingbird,” to Alex Bevan’s enchanting tunes about the water and boating ... we’ll be warm all over.

I know the natural instinct is to “cocoon” during the winter months, but don’t you really feel better when you get out and see others and do something? We have lots in store for you and your friends and family. This is the time of the year when I will gather up a group of my friends and all sign up for a class together - something we have always promised ourselves we might learn more about or just for the fun of it.

Bored?!?! We NEED volunteers at the Arts Center, so get off the couch this winter and come join us. You will really be appreciated and are much needed. You can usher, cook a dinner, help with the box office, work backstage, sew costumes, etc. Please come join us.

Feeling alone? No need. Lots of people get involved at the Arts Center by themselves and make friends - many of them for life. Come meet us and share with others just like you. And who knows, you may even meet Mr. or Ms. “Right” - it has happened before right here at the AAC.

No matter what your reason for wanting to get out of the house this winter, we hope you will come in to see us at the Arts Center. WE WANT YOU! So please stop in, real soon.
