The Ashtabula Arts Center is truly blessed with many, many individuals and companies that so willingly give of time, talent, money and support of all types. The AAC would not be what it is today without all of these components so harmoniously being generous, thoughtful, concerned, committed and involved.
As we head into the holiday season, the AAC takes time to reflect upon and to give thanks to all who are a part of our Arts Center "family."
Thank you to all our students, performers, crew persons, teachers, patrons, donors, volunteers, parents. Thank you to those of you out in our community who "talk up" the Arts Center. Word of mouth has always been our very best marketing tool - and we appreciate every good word said. Speaking of marketing - we also want to thank our organizational friends who include the AAC's programming information in their own marketing vehicles. Among these groups are the Ashtabula Area Chamber of Commerce, the Ashtabula County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Ashtabula County Council on Aging. Of course the AAC is most grateful to our regional news purveyors that so capably and willingly spread the word about our offerings - the Star Beacon, the Gazette Publications, the News Herald, the Chagrin Valley Times, Farm & Dairy, the Meadville Tribune, City to Country Guide, the Youngstown Vindicator, WWOW, WKKY, the Clear Channel Radio stations, The Ashtabula County YMCA, Northcoast Voice, The Akron Beacon Journal Online, Erie Times News, The Warren Tribune Chronicle, Adelphia Cable, Ohio.com, Discover Ohio and Lake Erie Living Magazine.
The AAC could not be what it is today without the hundreds of volunteers hours donated every year to enable us to stage programming; to assist with programming; to support programming with dollars and to oversee programming. The main arm of volunteers the AAC is so very fortunate to receive support from is Women's Service League of Ashtabula County (WSL). This dedicated group has provided volunteer support to the AAC close to 50 years. It has literally raised tens of thousands of dollars in support of the Arts Center and the arts in Ashtabula County. Hundreds of other volunteers man the concession booth, help with box office, usher patrons to their seats, sew costumes, stuff envelopes, lead children's art projects, cook dinners, serve dinners, bake goodies for receptions, oversee props for shows, move set pieces and furniture during shows, produce the music for shows, sell raffle tickets, paint sets and lots, lots more.
The Ashtabula Arts Center - Board of Trustees and Staff - want to thank you one and all for all you do for us. You are the ones who help us collectively and as a "family" make a difference not only in people's lives but also in our community as a whole. We wish you all the very best for a wonderful holiday season and thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!
