Decorative One Stroke Painting Workshops
with Janet Regelman
Based on the One Stroke Painting method made popular by Donna Dewberry, Janet’s classes are one-day workshops, each workshop completes a different project. Great for beginners! Sign up for one or all! Brushes and materials are provided. Time of all classes is 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.

SENSATIONAL SILK SCARVES

Paint your own silk scarf using watercolor and salt techniques. This is a great project for a parent and child. The materials fee of $10 will include two 8" x 54" silk scarves and the use of fabric paint. Additional blank scarves will be available for students who wish to purchase extras.

TO "DYE" FOR
Tie-Dyeing Workshop
For ages 10 & up

$15 Workshop fee/$13.50 member rate
Use professional quality dyes and learn some of the basics of hand dyeing techniques while making cool-lookingt-shirts! Meeghan will provide a variety of colors to work with and instruction. You provide the creativity. These dyes give very vibrant, permanent results.This class is designed for anyone ages 10 and up so sign up with your child.
Bring with you: Three 100% cotton t-shirts in your size and 6 pairs of socks. Blends and synthetics will not take the dyes or give nice results. For the socks, you will have to find as high a cotton content as you can. They don't come in 100% cotton

Intro to Airbrush
Two weeks, Saturdays July 12 & 19
1-3 p.m.

$40 workshop fee/$36 member rate
In this introducion to the art of airbrush, Sandy will demonstrate the mechanics of airbrush basics and trouble-shooting. Basic strokes and stencil techniques will be demonstrated and then students will get to try their hand. A follow-up class may be offered if there is enough interest. Register today!

FUSED GEMS

and Thursday, July 17, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Make a handful of glass "gems" in a small kiln and learn the basic techniques for fusing glass into pendants, earrings, tie tacks, etc. Each student will design 6-8 glass gems. Jewelry findings will be available for purchase. The last hour of the first class is spent minding the kiln to see when the gems are fused. This is optional, but many will want to see the whole process. Preregistration required. 964-3396

WIRE WRAPPING

Bring those fabulous fused gems you made in class or bring beach glass, polished stones or any other object you would like to wire into stunning jewelry. Included in the class fee is a 5 piece set of tools and the wire used in class. Preregistration required. 964-3396

FIRE & GLASS GLASS BEAD WORKSHOP

Learn the techniques for making glass beads using the new, small portable torches and MAPP gas eliminates gas/oxygen mixing and tank storage. This method is safe, convenient, inexpensive and requires very little space.
