Edgewood High School student and AAC violin instructor Yirae Kang was named winner of the 2003 Ashtabula Orchestra Young Artist Concerto Competition. Letters went out to all instrumental directors at every high school in Ashtabula County. Students in grades 9-12 could participate and submit an application and tape of their performance. Yirae performed as guest soloist for the Orchestra’s Spring Concert, held Friday, March 21, at KSU.
