Nan shares a lifetime of music history with the Ashtabula community. She has played in the Straw Hat pit for years and also preformed with the Mandrake players as part of the Brown Bag Concert series. Nan is a National Board Certified teacher with Buckeye Local Schools and is currently active in NorthEasterly Winds Woodwind Quintet, Ashtabula Symphonic Band, and is a charter member of the Ashtabula Area Orchestra. Nan's private flute students have earned honors OMEA Solo and Ensemble contests and have held principle positions in the Cleveland Youth Symphonies I and II. One student was the 2001 winner of the Ashtabula Area Orchestra's Young Artist Concerto Competition and was one of only four flutists in the OMEA 2001 Northeast Region High School Orchestra. Lessons with Nan Case will be available beginning August 1. Call the Arts Center for more information.
