“Creativity through Keyboards and Computers”

Join us for a presentation of Dave Young’s creative music!

Burton Twp. resident, Dave Young, is a classically trained musician who has composed music for TV, radio, film, CD’s and video games. He has worked with well known recording artists and has programed unique sounds for the world-renowned Cleveland Orchestra.

On Saturday, October 22, Dave will perform for the Arts Center audience using electronic music keyboards called synthesizers. Playing recognizable tunes, he will challenge audience members to identify the name of the music piece, as well as identify the sound of the instrument being used. The audience may hear the sounds of pianos, organs, violins, trumpets, flutes, guitars, drums, and other non-traditional sounds, all being produced by the music keyboard and Dave. Volunteers will be pulled from the audience to assist Dave with his music making. This fun and educational presentation will change the way you listen to and create music.
