If you care for a good laugh or you just want to see three actors giving it their all, hurry to make your reservations now for âThe Complete History of America (Abridged).â
Created by three writers, Reed Martin, Adam Long and Austin Tichenor who call themselves the Reduced Shakespeare Company, this show is satire at itâs best--a pointed, silly, intellectual, moronic, almost scholarly in its scope and often politically incorrect wacky comedy!
As the show attempts to tell the entire history of our nation in 90 minutes, youâll witness an argument between Amerigo Vespucci and his wife over the failings of his business, âMaps R Us;â a note that pre-Columbian history includes the birth of Bob Dole; a rap song about the colonization of the continent; a Salem witchhunting society that plays âBlame the Warlockâ and âHangman;â everyone getting high on âMonticello Gold;â the comedy team of Lewis and Clark; and so much more hilarity that youâll sides will be aching all the way home!
Directed by Darrell Lowe, the hilarious cast will include Douglas Anderson, April Tapper and Joshua Twining.
