One of the funniest shows of the entire G. B. Theatre season!

“The Baby Sitter”

The first night out after their baby's arrival becomes a hilarious nightmare for Beth and Roy when the babysitter arrives too late. Beth wants their first night out after their baby's arrival to be a big event. Her husband, Roy, who's been celibate far too long, wants his own big event after the big event. But the baby sitter doesn't show up, so Roy goes for a takeout dinner while Beth lights candles and puts out the wine. While Roy is gone, a frantic call from Beth’s mother sends Beth flying out the door the minute Roy returns with no explanation except “I’m going to mother!” Babs, the voluptuous teen baby sitter, finally shows up and finds a bewildered Roy and a table romantically set for two and assumes that the scene is meant for her. When Beth returns with her mother in tow, she finds not only a partially clothed Babs standing in the kitchen, but also another woman in the same state in the bedroom!

OUR G.B. THEATRE SEASON CONTINUES!

Following our production of "Annie," we will be bringing you a beguiling and hilarious tale, "Over the Tavern." This story about growing up Catholic in 1950’s is seen through the eyes of Rudy Pazinski, a precocious 12-year-old boy. This show will play for two weeks only--on March 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 and 17.

Next up will be the musical review--Kids on Broadway! An evening of great tunes awaits you in this main stage show that will be offered just one weekend--March 22, 23, 24 and 25.

The following weekend brings our second special event of the season when our Children’s Theater Production class brings you the delightful story of "Pocahontas." This popular class takes students though the entire process of putting on a production. Everyone gets involved rehearsing parts, building sets and making costumes. This annual favorite will be performed March 30 at 7:30 PM, March 31 at 2 PM and 7:30 PM and April 1 at 2 PM.

In our final main stage show of the season, the first night out after their baby's arrival becomes a hilarious nightmare for Beth and Roy when their sitter arrives too late. The Babysitter will be another two week production and will play on April 13, 14, 15, 19, 20 and 21.
