"The Beauty of Nature" by Sharon Wood
After spending 12 years as a pen & ink artist, Sharon Wood decided to go on a search for a new art medium that would help her to grow as an artist. In 2003, she discovered the beauty and versatility of pastel. In 2006, Sharon engaged the challenging printing process of reduction linocuts after feeling the absence of working with ink.
Much of Sharon’s artwork is influenced by the painting style of Impressionism. The basics of design and color remain as dominant features in her paintings.
