Volunteer News and Notes:

Happy Holidays! We at the Arts Center hope that this holiday season finds you and yours happy and healthy. As 2002 draws to a close, we hope that you can look back with fond memories at events from the past year, and that the approaching new year holds even more chances for creating special memories to hold in your heart for years to come.

Last year was an eventful year for the Arts Center, and we thank everyone who was able to join us for special events we were fortunate enough to experience here. Thank you to each and every one of you who came out and volunteered at or otherwise supported these events. From dinner theaters to coffeehouses to kids days, we experienced a wonderful reception from our dedicated volunteers over the course of the year.

Our volunteers know that things never really quiet down around here, and we certainly hope that 2003 again brings you back through our doors for more of the craziness and excitement that is the Arts Center! With the Arts Center celebrating its 50th anniversary this coming year, we are currently planning several events and activities to commemorate this spectacular event. Some of the plans include a community open house in March, a grand gala in October, and possibly a “Run for the Arts” in the spring. The staff of the Center is very excited to be celebrating this milestone, and we hope to have you join us for as many of these events as possible.

Without you, the Arts Center wouldn’t be what it is today, and we hope that the next half century is blessed with a group of people so passionate about the arts and helping others as we’ve been fortunate enough to have with us so far through the years.
